Douglas Frazer Fine Art and FADA: He was born in Ireland, emigrating to the US at age 16. He moved to Pasadena in 1913 and worked there for 4 years, after which he moved to the Monterey Peninsula and became active in the Carmel Art Association.
His prints appear in two issues of the Dune Forum
Wikipedia: Thomas Scofield Handforth (1897–1948) was an American artist and etcher. He wrote and illustrated the book Mei Li about his personal experiences in China and won the 1939 Caldecott Medal. Born in Tacoma, Washington, he studied at the University of Washington.
